MY STORY
"A little bit about me"
I'm Luisa; virtually full-time carer to two lovely teenage children, three very-needy cats and a husband! But if and when that lot give me a few minutes of spare time, I’m also responsible for the images on this website.
In the busy and often extreme world we live in, sometimes it can feel like it’s just enough to get through the day so that’s why I think it’s important to capture moments; be it daily life, something beautiful, having fun or simply just preserving a memory.
I absolutely love anything creative; whether it’s at home, in my hobbies or in my work. I look for the - sometimes hidden - wonder in all that’s around me. After all, even a carefully crafted coffee can be a work of art.
A lot of what I do is around my family, whether that’s helping with homework, cooking a meal or being woken before the sun rises by a rough tongue on my forehead (one of the cats, not my husband!). I value all that they bring into my life and make no apologies for them being the centre of my world (and in a lot of the pictures I take). Plus, I get to take my work home with me.
As a photographer, I’m really just trying to tell a story in a different way; one that we can look back on and recall much more than just the time and place. If that story brings a smile to your face, all the better.
